The room was very good and clean. The only complaint was that the air conditioner was blowing towards the bed, so I had to sleep at the end of the bed, otherwise I would easily catch a cold. Although the breakfast restaurant didn't have many varieties, the quality was online. Especially the brother in the breakfast restaurant, knowing that I couldn't speak English, he immediately switched to Chinese to introduce me to various dishes, and helped me cook a bowl of Malay-style rice noodles, which was better than any other I had in Penang. The next day, he helped me make another kind of rice noodles, great 👍

Ascott Gurney is our choice hotel everytime we stay in Penang. The hotel rooms are big, very clean and the bed is also very comfortable. Location is great, view is nice, facing the sea and we can even take a stroll on the park at night.
The staffs are warm and friendly and helpful. I needed safety pins for my dress urgently and they responded quickly by providing it immediately.
The breakfast spread was very wide, so much variety and it is actually very tasty too.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Ascott Gurney.
We look forward to other Ascott hotels all over the world.

Everything is fine, except that in the name of environmental protection, there is no drink in the mini bar, no fruit or anything. My friend lives in the hotel next door, which is older, but two bottles of drinks + two bottles of mineral water + 2 apples per day

The location is excellent, and the room facilities are complete and convenient. Five-star praise for Ctrip. When checking in, the hotel downgraded the room type for no reason. After calling Ctrip, they fully helped to negotiate and deal with it. It was professional and timely. I felt the blessing and warmth of my motherland in a foreign land:)
